The Breast Cancer Network Australia celebrated 15 years with inspiring speakers on October 15.

In our first joint event with Victorian Women Lawyers, we were treated to an enlighening, challenging and stimulating discussion on "Female Genital Mutilation: Legal and Medical Responses".

In Conversation with Kate Richards

The Victorian Medical Women's Society Lyceum Luncheon for 2013 featured special guest, Dr Kate Richards.  In Madness:  A Memoir, Dr Richards describes living with acute psychosis and depression.

'Postcards from Abroad' 

Was held on Thursday 22nd March

Venue: St Vincent's Hospital, 11th Floor Boardroom, Inpatient Services Building, 40 Victoria Parade, Fitzroy

We explored some of the opportunities and challenges of working in global health, working abroad, and in particular in developing world contexts. Our speakers had clocked up many miles working across Africa, Asia-pacific, and remote Australia and shared their travellers' stories, motivations for working abroad, and practical tips on getting involved in global health initiatives.
