SUMMARY:Expression of Interest / Welcome Session - AIDH Women in Digital Health Coffee Connections Pilot Program - 8 Jul 2022
DESCRIPTION:An exciting opportunity for women in digital health to connect and build their community! Introducing AIDH Women in Digital Health Coffee Connections Pilot Program. If you are interested\, please join the organisers\, Karen and Robyn\, for an Expression of Interest/Welcome session on Teams\, Friday  8th July 12.30 – 1.00 PM (AEST). \n  \nAbout the Program\nThis program offers participants the chance to: \n\nLink up with industry peers\, connect and expand your professional network across Australia.\nShare perspectives with women in different roles and stages of their career.\nDiscuss some of the most important issues facing women in digital health.\nTake time out of your busy day for an informal 30 min coffee and chat!\n\n  \nAbout The Organisers\nRobyn Mann and Karen Lee are participants in the AIDH’s inaugural 6-month Women in Digital Health Leadership Program (Meet the participants – Women in Digital Health).  This pilot program is a learning requirement of the program where we are challenges to design and implement a project. The goal of the project is to contribute some action or strategy that will support more women moving into leadership positions. We believe this project will support the program goal of increasing the number of women in leadership at all levels of the digital health ecosystem.  We would like to thank our mentor Janine Cox for supporting us with this project. \n  \nAIDH Women in Digital Health Coffee Connections Pilot Program\nWe are inviting members of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) to take part in our pilot program for women currently working within the digital health industry or interested in working within the industry. While our sector continues to evolve and at a time when working  from home is now the norm\, we recognise that it may be harder to connect with others to explore issues faced by women working in our industry. This pilot program will provide a platform to discuss these issues\, establish new connections and network with fellow members of the AIDH. \n  \nThis program offers participants the chance to:\n\nLink up with industry peers\, connect and expand your professional network across Australia.\nShare perspectives with women in different roles and stages of their career.\nDiscuss some of the most important issues facing women in digital health.\n Take time out of your busy day for an informal coffee and chat!\n\n  \nHow the pilot program works:\nDuring this program\, you will be matched with a different industry peer for 3 separate ‘virtual coffee catch-up’ sessions\, over 3 weeks. We will connect you with a new participant each week and during that week we encourage you to set up a 30-minute virtual catch-up at a time suitable for you and your coffee partner. Each meeting will centre on the key discussion topic for that week and allow you to mutually share your experiences in this area. \nKey topics and supporting content will be provided each week to help direct the conversations. These topics include: \n\nWellbeing\, Juggling Priorities and Avoiding Burnout\nDealing with Difficult Conversations & Stakeholders\nImposter Syndrome\n\nWhile these topics will help guide the conversation\, they are just a starting point and we hope that these will enable you to share rich experiences with your fellow participants. \n  \nKey Dates:\n\nVirtual Expression of Interest meeting/Welcome session\, Friday 8th July 12.30 – 1.00 PM AEST\nCoffee catch-up 1\, week beginning Monday 18th July\nCoffee catch-up 2\, week beginning Monday 25th July\nCoffee catch-up 3\, week beginning Monday 1st August\nWrap Up meeting/Closing session\, Friday 12th August 12.30 – 1.00 PM AEST\n\n  \nFAQS:\nHow do I sign up? \n\nPlease complete the registration form available at https://forms.office.com/r/UxuFTVKECK\nYour personal information will only be used for the purpose of the pilot program.\n\nHow do I arrange a time/date with my coffee buddy? \n\nOnce you receive your coffee partner match\, it is then up to you both to coordinate a time/date for the virtual coffee catch-up during that week. It is completely up to you and your coffee partner as to whether you would like to meet before\, during or outside business hours.\n\nWhat happens if I can’t reach my coffee buddy? \n\nIf you have any difficulties\, please reach out to Karen Lee via LinkedIn messaging (Karen Lee | LinkedIn) and we can assist.\n\nWhat happens if I do not wish to meet with my coffee buddy? \n\nIf for any reason you would prefer not to meet with your allocated coffee buddy\, please reach out to Karen Lee via LinkedIn messaging (Karen Lee | LinkedIn) for assistance.\n\nHow much is this program? \n\nThere is no cost to participate in this pilot program.\nHowever\, this pilot program is only available to AIDH members (Membership – AIDH (digitalhealth.org.au)).\n\nWhat is the platform that will be used for the coffee meetings? \n\nYou will be provided with access to a Teams platform.\nIt is completely up to you and your coffee partner as to whether you would prefer to use an alternative platform suitable for both of you.\n\nWhat if I can’t commit to the full pilot program? \n\nThe virtual welcome and wrap up meetings will be recorded\, so you will be able to view them at your leisure afterwards.\nIf your plans change during the program\, please reach out to Karen Lee via LinkedIn messaging ((1) Karen Lee | LinkedIn) for assistance.\n\nWhat is the commitment after the pilot program? \n\nThere is no ongoing commitment after the pilot program finishes.\nIt is completely up to you and your coffee partner as to whether you would like to exchange contact details and continue to keep in touch with each other after the program.\n\nI have further queries.  Can I discuss these with you? \n\nYes\, of course\, please reach out to Karen Lee via LinkedIn messaging (Karen Lee | LinkedIn).\nWe also welcome you to attend the first EOI/Welcome meeting which will be an opportunity to find out more about the program. SUMMARY:Education with Values Summit - 13 Nov
DESCRIPTION:ABOUT\n“Theme – Why Educating with Values is Important and What Should This Look Like in 2021 and Beyond” \nEducating with values equips young people with the mindsets and skills needed to be successful in their life pursuits.
