SUMMARY:Climate\, Migration and Poverty | NGO CSW/NY December Meeting
DESCRIPTION:NGO CSW/NY’s December Monthly Meeting will focus on climate-related forced migration and its connections to the CSW68 Priority and Review Themes. \nFollowing the conclusions around climate held in the COP 28 Outcome Declaration on Climate\, Relief\, Recovery\, and Peace\, this meeting aims to fill in the gaps from the COP 28 process and highlight the needs\, priorities\, and promising solutions for addressing the multiple intersecting challenges of climate\, migration and poverty. \nPanel discussants will provide global and local perspectives on the gender dimensions of climate and poverty\, and will present alternative solutions for collective action.
