The AMA are excited to announce the launch of the AMA Women in Leadership Program, facilitated by Monash University in partnership with Advancing Women in Healthcare Leadership.
This national program is designed to inspire, empower, and support AMA women members as they prepare for and step into leadership roles. Across two intensive days, 22 and 23 October, participants will engage in a dynamic mix of experiential learning and practical tools. The program will explore the distinct challenges women encounter in leadership and equip them with the skills and confidence to lead with impact.
Registrations opened Friday 1 August.
Who should register
This program is ideal for:
- AMA women members preparing for or aspiring to leadership roles
- emerging leaders with influence (formal or informal)
- members seeking to grow their leadership capability
- women interested in contributing to AMA leadership structures
- those committed to overcoming the unique challenges faced by women in leadership.
- Please note: This program is not intended for those already in established leadership roles.
