Co-hosted by Nexus and the Victorian Medical Women’s Society (VMWS) -Australia’s first medical women’s society, founded in 1895 – this event brings together innovators, trailblazers, and curious minds for a night of learning, connection, and inspiration.

Speakers
Betty Zhang – Investment Manager at Boson Ventures with expertise spanning neuroscience, synthetic biology, immunology, and global biotech equities. Focused on early-stage biotech, MedTech, and wellness investments across Australia & New Zealand, and a leader in initiatives such as Nucleate Australia and the Australasian Synthetic Biology Challenge.
Dr Kim Drever – Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrician with 20+ years of clinical experience and one of the few practising clinicians driving digital health product development. Actively advancing integration of ambient scribe AI in clinical practice and advisor to a successful health tech startup.
Rania Awad – Digital strategist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in scaling businesses, digital transformation, and product innovation across health services, asset management, retail, and IT sectors in Australia, New Zealand, and China. Brings deep expertise in SaaS, operational optimisation, and strategic planning across both B2C and B2B environments.
Danielle Bancroft – Chief Product Officer at Best Practice Software with over a decade of digital health leadership, specialising in electronic medication management and digital transformation of healthcare workflows. Key contributor to large-scale national initiatives including real-time prescription monitoring and ePrescribing rollout. A practising pharmacist with experience across community, hospital, and defence sectors.
