AFMW 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) + President’s Awards

Dear AFMW Members,

You are warmly invited to the next AFMW Annual General Meeting for the triennium which will be held in person at the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre, Melbourne (and via Zoom TBC), Saturday 18 November 2023.  In keeping with previous years, the AFMW President’s awards will also be given and we will have the opportunity to listen to a short presentation from each  of the recipients.

This event is open to all AFMW members! Please RSVP with your attendance or apology.

AFMW President’s Awards 2023

This year’s recipients are:

1. President’s Award 2023 – Dr Marjorie Cross OAM
   President’s Award for Excellent Service to the Health of the Nation and the profession through numerous roles and to the Australian Federation of Medical Women.
2. President’s Award 2023 – Dr Anne Myers
   President’s Honour In recognition of excellent contribution to the health of women and the community.
3. Young President’s Award  2023 – Dr Katrina Harris
   President’s Young AFMW Award In recognition of excellent contribution to Victorian Medical Women’s Society and AFMW.
