RACGP Women in General Practice Conference – Brainy Women: A Healthy Mind And Body – 28-29 May 2022
28 May, 2022 - 29 May, 2022
Brainy women conference finally taking place!
RACGP Victoria’s Women In General Practice Committee is proud to present Brainy Women: A Healthy Mind and Body being held at the RACV City Club Melbourne 28–29 May 2022.
I am also one of the speakers: I will be speaking as an expert on family violence in general in my roles as a GP facilitator, trainer, researcher with Safer Families Centre of Research Excellence University of Melbourne and as GP trainer and facilitator for the phase 2 of the Safer Families programme roll out, with RACGP and the Department of Health. Areas I will cover are the Information Sharing Schemes, how they affect practice and in Victoria in particular and how we need to implement the Multiagency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM).

About
The Women in General Practice Committee is an RACGP Victoria faculty committee that supports and advocates for female general practitioners (GPs) and for women’s health. Each year we organise and facilitate educational events, as well as opportunities to meet, support and network with other GPs.
This year we are excited to bring you Brainy Women: a healthy mind and body. The conference includes sessions on women’s health, and on doctors’ health and wellbeing. It is open to all GPs, as well as to new Fellows and registrars. Our conferences are practical, interactive, and provide many opportunities to meet and talk with other GPs.
We are really excited to have Natasha Stott Despoja AO as our closing speaker.
