Showcasing the latest research from SPHERE in abortion, contraception and preconception care on 23 and 25 November 2021 (AEDT)

The SPHERE NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women in Primary Care invites you to attend our virtual annual meeting to hear the latest about our research in abortion, contraception, and preconception care.

This two-day event will feature SPHERE researchers and students alongside the following keynote speakers:

• Dr Mary Favier, Past President Irish College of General Practitioners
• Professor Judith Stephenson, Margaret Pyke Professor of Sexual & Reproductive Health, University College London

A panel discussion, facilitated by Associate Professor Charlotte Hespe, will also be featured and will involve key stakeholders in women’s health and primary care who will discuss the topic “How can we address workforce training issues to increase the delivery of women’s sexual and reproductive health services in primary care?” There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session, but you may also submit a question prior to the event by emailing [email protected]

The meeting will conclude with a consumer and policy session that will discuss “Innovative approaches to women’s sexual and reproductive health service deliviery: examples around Australia and lessons learned.”

Registered participants will receive an email one week before the event with details on how to join the virtual meeting and a copy of the final program. A draft program is available here.
