May is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

We share this important message from colleagues at the Domestic Violence Crisis Service ACT.

We acknowledge those on the frontline, community organisations and advocacy groups who show up every day to do the work to support learning for change.

We ask those in our community to have and hold hope that while this work is challenging, we are making a difference and that it is your actions every day that create change.

This month is about raising awareness and providing resources and tools to our community to be better colleagues, advocates and community members. We all have a role to play.

Today and tomorrow, you can choose to stand up, speak out and help support those in your community to build a life free from violence.

One Suggestion For Medical Women

All medical women can find a space to ask their women and children patients whether they are safe at home.
