Membership Information

You have selected the AFMW at large - Doctor membership level.

Eligibility Criteria for membership of AFMW  Membership of the Society shall be open to women who are legally qualified medical practitioners registered or registerable in Australia. Women eligible to join AFMW who have a state or territory Medical Women's Society become members of AFMW automatically as part of their state or territory society membership. Queensland, NSW, ACT and Victoria currently have state or territory medical women's societies affiliated with AFMW.  If you are interested in starting a medical women's society in another state or territory, please contact the AFMW at [email protected].

The price for membership is $50.00 per Year.

For registered doctors. This information will be used to confirm your status as a registered medical practitioner and hence your eligibility to be a member of AFMW

For students. Please enter the name of the university you attend and your student ID. This information will be used to confirm your status as a medical student and hence your eligibility to be a member of AFMW

Member's Directory (optional)
An opportunity to secure more benefit from your membership.

The Directory is a private list of members and their professional profiles, enabling members and the Medical Women's Society to find other members they may wish to connect with or consider for various initiatives, programs and projects. Members can include a range of additional information into their profile, enabling searches for Mentors and Mentees, for other experts in their field, and for medical women with similar interests and specific skill sets.

Having your profile displayed in the Directory is optional. By default we show all member profiles. However, if you do not wish to have your details shown in the Directory, you can opt-out by checking the Hide from member directory box below.
