[EVENT RECAP] Medical Women’s Society of the ACT and Region held their annual cocktail party in the spacious garden of committee member Karen Bisley on Wednesday evening 12 March. Beautiful balmy weather, pizzas straight from the oven, and a stellar gathering of medical women ranging from first year students to retirees made for a wonderful chance to network and forge new friendships.
This International Women’s Day, We Care Solar celebrates the remarkable women transforming healthcare and energy access through our Light Every Birth Initiative. Donations to assist their endeavours are welcome.

February 13th marks the anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations. It is important that we reflect the work that still needs to be done to address the impacts of unresolved and intergenerational trauma, through listening to the stories of Stolen Generation survivors.
