Call For Volunteers
Volunteer to help NGO CSW/NY host the NGO CSW69 Forum in NYC. Our yearly Forum can only happen with the help of our amazing volunteers. Join our team today and together we will make the Forum a great success!
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VISA OR DEFINITE TRAVEL PLANS TO COME TO NYC FOR THE FORUM, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER.
We are looking for in-person volunteers to help us oversee one of the largest gatherings of feminists and women’s rights organizations in the world.
Who:
- Feminists and women’s rights advocates looking to volunteer at one of the largest gatherings of feminists and women’s rights organizations in the world
- Students, retirees, and anyone who can commit their time
When:
- 10-14 and 17-21 March @ 8 am – 8 pm
- 3-hour shifts
- Encouraged to cover multiple shifts throughout the two weeks
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming attendees and answering their questions
- Assisting Parallel Event organizers as needed
- Overseeing transitions between Parallel Events
- Enforcing rules of the building
- Communicating with building captains and NGO CSW/NY staff as needed
