Is Public Health Sustainable? Many public health professionals argue that increasing the population causes unsustainable stresses on health services, nutrition and food security, water security, housing and the environment which supports us all.

PHAA will hold its 41st Annual Conference, 26-28 September 2011 at the Brisbane Convention Centre. This exciting and important conference will explore sustainable population health – a growing concern and challenge for everyone living in this fast changing world. The Conference will examines the theme: Sustainable Populations, Supportive Environments for Health and Public Health Systems.
