The 5th June 2024 is World Environment Day.
World Environment Day 2024, observed on June 5th, carries the theme “Restore Our Earth.” This theme underscores the critical need for ecosystem restoration, emphasizing actions to repair and rejuvenate natural habitats, combat biodiversity loss, and mitigate climate change. It aligns with the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), urging collective efforts in reforestation, conservation, sustainable agriculture, and pollution reduction. The goal is to inspire global participation from governments, communities, and individuals in creating a healthier, more sustainable planet for future generations.
