The 16 Days of Activism kicks off around the world this Saturday, 25 November. Started by activists more than 20 years ago, the campaign is an opportunity for you and me, along with millions around the globe to unite and take action to help put an end to gender-based violence.

I started my fundraising yesterday and I look forward to putting on my trainers this Saturday morning and walking the talk.

Are you ready to join me? Head to the website and register to take part in the Safe. Everywhere. Always. walk now. Choose to walk 30, 60 or 100kms from 25 November to 10 December while raising vital funds to support our sisters in every corner of the globe.

We are also excited to share with you, thanks to the generous people at JD Sports, Good Food and Womn-Kind, we have loads of amazing prizes to be won during the event. We hope you will join us in thanking these organisations for contributing to this important cause.

Decades of work have gone into ending violence against women and yet there is still so much to do. By raising your hand today, we can commit to continuing the fight for change together so that women and girls can be Safe. Everywhere. Always. Join me and register today.

With gratitude,

Simone Clarke
