About The Conference
The National Rural Health Conference is the pre‑eminent event in Australia for information and inspiration about rural and remote health and wellbeing. The 18th National Rural Health Conference, taking place 14–16 September 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre (Tarntanya).
This national event brings together rural, regional and remote health professionals, researchers, policymakers, community leaders and advocates from across Australia to connect, share knowledge and drive meaningful change.
Under the theme Equity & Transformation: shaping rural health, disability & ageing, the Conference will explore the ideas, evidence and partnerships needed to improve health outcomes for communities outside our major cities.
Whether you work in healthcare delivery, policy, research, disability, ageing, education or community services, this is a key opportunity to be part of the national rural health conversation.
