Welcome to the homepage for the South Australian Chapter of the Australian Federation of Medical Women. This Chapter is supported by the Australian Federation of Medical Women, which is keen to assist South Australians to establish a vibrant society of medical women! There are many opportunities for medical women in South Australia and we hope that in future years the South Australian Chapter will become more active locally and within the Australian Federation of Medical Women.
We encourage all SA medical women to sign up free of charge for their state and AFMW newsletter, and to join the AFMW Facebook Group and South Australian Medical Women’s Society Facebook Group. SA women doctors can join the Australian Federation of Medical Women by completing this membership application form and sending $50 by cheque or electronic funds transfer to AFMW; membership is free for medical students.
Membership of AFMW gives you membership of two organisations – not only are you joining the Australian Federation of Medical Women (AFMW), you also become a member of the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA). For more information please contact AFMW.
