APPLICATIONS OPEN – Now in its fifth year, the launch of the AFMW 2025 Purple Bush Medicine Leaves Bursary Program on Monday, 26 May 2025, coincided with National Sorry Day (also known as National Healing Day). The recipients will be women who identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, is a Medical Graduate or in their final year of medicine of an Australian medical degree or course. PRIDoC 2024 – Reflection by A/Prof Deb Colville

PRIDoC stands for Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors Conference, and is a biannual meeting of the Indigenous Doctors from 8 nations, including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Taiwan, Canada, and USA. Last year’s conference in December 2024, was the first time in 12 years that Australia had the privilege of hosting PRIDoC.
