A group of women leaders were asked, What is one thing you want to see women and girls achieve as we work to solve the climate crisis? My reply was,‘ I want to see the empowerment of women through education, access to technology and leadership of roles.Women across the globe have shown themselves to be innovators and instigators of meaningful and relevant climate action and policy. IWD: Break the Bias [Video]

This year’s International Women’s Day theme of 2022 is ‘Break the Bias’, and encourages us to imagine a gender equal world, free of stereotypes and discrimination. I enjoyed partnering with my RACGP Women In General Practice Committee friends, and we brought together this video following one of our zoom meetings in which I suggested we each video ourselves uttering a powerful one – liner relevant to the theme of “breaking the bias”.
