Surviving night shift
Working the night shift: preparation, survival and recovery is a guide for junior doctors that provides straightforward advice on how to prepare before working night shifts, how to stay alert and refreshed while on duty, and how to recover from working nights. The advice, prepared by a UK Working Group convened by the Royal College of Physicians, is based on recent research and aims to assist junior doctors in maximising their ability to cope with working at a time when their bodies want to sleep.
