The 65th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65) has started and is online. More than 25,000 registrants attending!
Join us on March 20th 3:30-5 pm AEDT or our own AFMW parallel session. The AFMW is the ONLY organisation out of the 699 presentations, talking about women doctors as advocates.
The theme for the AFMW Parallel event is “COVID-19 Changed Everything – Australian Women Doctors as Gender Equity Advocates”. We have a line up of AFMW speakers presenting on mental health, COVID-19 effects on youth and families, interruption to cancer screening services, interruption to treatments and pregnancy care, medical women in advocating and steering changes needed. As there has been unprecedented interest in this event, the webinar will be recorded for viewing by members at a later date.

Opportunities to participate in the activities of the 65th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65)
CSW65 is is a two week event consisting of a range of events, including official meetings, side events and parallel events.
AFMW has set up a Google Calendar so members can see what each other are attending. Feel free to add an event you are attending to the calendar so others can join you if they wish. Or, you can add your name to an event someone else has added if you wish to join them.
