The QMWS Centennial Working Group held its sixth meeting in the Emeritus Professor Mary Mahoney Boardroom, marking our final gathering of the 2024 year. We were delighted to welcome Dr. Ira van der Steenstraten (Immediate Past-President and current Vice President), and Dr. Janet Huang, who served as QMWS President in 2014.
The QMWS100 centennial working group continues to make great progress as we gather monthly to plan and brainstorm for the upcoming 2029 centennial celebration. This month, Dr. Lydia Pitcher, Dr. Kathryn Mainstone and Dr. Chloe Hang were delighted to welcome two special guests: Dr. Zelle Hodge and Jane Connolly.
The inaugural meeting of the QMWS Centennial Celebration Working Group took place Tuesday 4th June 2024. Dr. Lydia Pitcher, Dr. Kathryn Mainstone, Dr. Barbara Woodhouse, Dr. Anna Raymond, and Dr. Chloe Hang were in attendance. We were graciously welcomed by Ms Lucy Reid, Senior Advancement Co-ordinator. We extend our warm thanks to her for her hospitality and for arranging easy access to the venue.
