An opinion piece worth sharing. As Victoria reports 2297 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases yesterday. It’s the highest number ever recorded in a day. Another 11 people in Victoria have died after contracting COVID-19. Australia had the opportunity to do something truly remarkable in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Doctors in two cities call on community to vaccinate now with what is available

In this article, originally published in the NEOS KOSMOS, two Greek doctors, one in Melbourne (AFMW President, Magda Simonis) and one in Sydney are calling on people to be vaccinated, whether with the AstraZeneca or the Pfizer BioNTech vaccines, as these are the most effective way to counter the rapidly spreading Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus and ultimately protect themselves and their loved ones.
