AFMW has been invited to exhibit at the Healthed Women’s & Children’s Health Update 2026. This is an important opportunity to increase our national visibility and strengthen engagement with clinicians over the coming months.
The series commenced in Melbourne on 21 March, with past president Dr Magdalena Simonis MC-ing the event on behalf of AFMW, alongside Dr Kate Duncan AM and members of VMWS staffing the exhibition booth.
Dr Duncan reflected on the Melbourne event, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre:
“This was the first of this year’s events and served as a valuable trial in promoting both the 2027 MWIA WP conference and VMWS. With over 2,600 registered delegates, the exhibition saw strong foot traffic throughout program breaks.
Our booth received a warm and engaged response, with several new VMWS members joining on the day. We also connected with other exhibitors, generating early interest from potential sponsors for the 2027 MWIA WP conference.
Overall, it was a highly worthwhile and productive event.”
Upcoming seminars in the national circuit include Sydney (2 May), Brisbane (30 May), Perth (20 June), and Adelaide (27 June), continuing this series of high-impact CPD events across Australia.
AFMW looks forward to building on this momentum across upcoming events.
