[EVENT RECAP] The Winter Solstice was celebrated by the ACT and Region Medical Women’s Society last week in Canberra with fun games, raffles, auctions and a quiz to raise money for the small charities we support.
EVENT RECAP MWS ACT & Region fielded a team of 29 in this year’s fun run raising money for breast and ovarian cancer research.
EVENT RECAP The weather was perfect for the annual Cocktail Party for Medical Women’s Society ACT & Region. Held in the garden of Dr Diana Rubel, we enjoyed animated conversations making new friends and sharing experiences.

EVENT RECAP The ACT and Region Medical Women’s Society annual FUNdraiser event was held recently. Yet again it was well attended by members and friends in a generous spirit – $320 from a single table to purchase their dessert! Our Impressively Dressed entrants collected over $600 in votes with the overall winner our Treasurer Kristi. Marjorie wore a vintage dress and antique shoes which fit her like a glove!
On International Women’s Day 2023, ACT and Region MWS held its annual cocktail party at the home of one of our members with the aim of welcoming newcomers most often students to ACT. It was supported by Compass Fertility.
