Women in digital health leadership program now open

Applications are now open until 20 January 2023 for the Institute’s Women in Digital Health (WiDH) leadership and professional development program. Now in its second year, WiDH was developed to advance the digital health careers of women through immersive coaching and personalised mentoring experiences. The 25 women accepted into the program will work with inspirational leaders, coaches and mentors from across the digital health community and join leadership retreats from February to August 2023.

Report reveals gender disparity in Australia’s digital health sector

The Brilliant Connected Women in Digital Health (BCWinDH) has recently published the findings of research conducted as a joint initiative between Telstra Health, the Digital Health CRC, CSIRO eHealth Research Institute, and Australasian Institute of Digital Health. This research, aimed to create a baseline understanding of gender diversity within the Australian digital health sector to help to identify the challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Applied Learning Health Systems short course, Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, University of Melbourne

Am happy to announce that I’m one of the first students to have participated and completed this short course delivered by the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, University of Melbourne. As a member of this inaugural programme, I was amongst a midst of Technical Engineers, Government Health personnel, physicians, surgeons and allied health professionals. A truly interdisciplinary approach to healthcare systems. Headed by Professor Wendy Chapman, who is also one of the founders of Women in Digital Health ( WiDH).
