Associate Prof Magdalena Simonis AM, Adj Prof Karen Price, RACGP President Nicole Higgins and Associate Prof Louise Stone were interviewed by ABC News concerning female GPs donating their time and therefore their money.
Dr Anne Myers passed away quietly, at Cabrini Sunday 18th February at 5:30 am. We are fortunate to have enjoyed Anne’s company and acceptance speech at our 2023 AGM in Melbourne, where she was the recipient of the 2023 President’s Honour for excellent service to women’s health.
On 6 November 2023, the Senate referred an inquiry into the Issues related to menopause and perimenopause to the Senate Community Affairs References Committee for inquiry and report by 10 September 2024. Submissions are sought by 16 February 2024.
This Inquiry seeks submissions from anyone with information or interest in the Inquiry into Women’s Pain. The Victoria-wide consultation is led by Safer Care Victoria, the Victorian Women’s Health Advisory Council and the Inquiry into Women’s Pain sub-committee. It begins on the 30 January 2024.
