Thank you to our kind bursary donors Ms Leann Wilson and Mr Colin Saltmere AM, as we congratulate Ms Tia Gordon, a Ghungalu/Bidjara woman, Dr Kerby Siemsen, a Wiradjuri woman from Weethalle and Dr Sarah McEwan, a Wiradjuri woman from Mudgee.

Bursary 2021 Update: During Reconciliation Week, the Australian Federation of Medical Women, is making a tangible commitment to the support of continuing education of Aboriginal and Torres’s Strait Islander women in medicine with an inaugural bursary. As part of their commitment to reconciliation and the Makarrata Commission, we would like to encourage and empower a female medical graduate who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, to further their medical career and/or leadership aspirations.
